Education
Dr. Fine Graduated from the Veterinary School of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel in 2003. She began practicing medicine in California after completing and successfully complying with the American Veterinary Medical Association's Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) in 2005,
Professional Experience
Dr. Fine has extensive professional experience in veterinary medicine. She has a special interest in dogs and cats' internal medicine and surgery.
Special Interests
Feline internal medicine is one of Dr. Fine's passions. Her understanding of feline health allows her to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions with precision and care. Taking several courses in small animal ultrasound has enabled Dr. Fine to utilize ultrasound techniques and aid in diagnosis and treatment planning, elevating the level of care she provides to her patients.
Dr. Fine is committed to client satisfaction, and takes pride in her ability to find creative solutions to challenging situations. Her compassionate manner and effective communication skills ensure that pet owners are not only informed but also feel valued and heard.
Dr Fine enjoys spending time with her family and pets (a dog and two
cats), traveling, listening to audiobooks or music and staying active.
Education
Dr. Schrader has over 23 years of experience in the veterinary field. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of California, Davis in 1996. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis in 2000.
Professional Experience
Upon graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Schrader dove into private practice to start helping pets and their families. Primarily working with dogs and cats, she has also worked with rabbits and rodents. She has previously served on the board for Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center.
Special Interests
As a small animal veterinarian, Dr. Schrader promotes preventative health measures, addresses health needs, and performs surgery. She enjoys internal medicine and the management of diseases that affect our geriatric pets. She especially has a love for dermatology and the management of endocrine disorders, such as diabetes mellitus and Cushing’s disease. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her two cuddle-bug Chihuahua/Terriers, Albert and Dobby, and her mischievous cat, Stitch. They make perfect reading companions!
